Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Europe Q4 2024

During the fourth quarter of 2024, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Europe saw varied performance across the top five iOS apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 443K in the last week of December. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting at around 5.6M at the beginning of the quarter and ending at about 6M.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a consistent trend in weekly downloads, with a notable spike to 346K in the final week of December. Its weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 1.2M and ending slightly higher at 1.2M.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery showed a decline in downloads throughout the quarter, with a rebound to 87K in the last week. However, weekly active users demonstrated a significant increase from 1.7M at the start to 1.7M by the end of December.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a decrease in weekly downloads, with figures dropping from 70K at the beginning to 64K by the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users saw a slight rise, finishing the quarter at 380K.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a stable download trend, reaching 46K in the last week of December. Weekly active users increased from 164K to 185K by the end of the quarter.
